A next generation software for 3-D simulation of underground excavations

Currently available commercial software for underground construction requires a lot of effort and expertise to produce realistic 3-D simulations and, in some cases, there is some doubt about the accuracy of the results. This is because current programs are based on domain methods. The BEFE++ concept involves a change of paradigm in the sense that boundary methods and intuitive, easy to use interfaces are used, resulting in a new era of numerical modeling.
